The committee will seek to develop and establish assistance programs to promote and guide independent and strong governmental institutions in Venezuela, based on openness, transparency, and accountability in order to help restore the balance and the confidence of the people in the Venezuelan government system
The committee will provide evidence-based analysis and recommendations to help policymakers and the Venezuelan people meet the health challenges of a globalized world.
Act as liaison with public or private organizations to advance economic and social assistance programs to help rebuild the healthcare system in Venezuela.
The committee will seek to develop and implement programs to protect and strengthen the entrepreneurial activity in Venezuela, through education, financial aid, credit and small business investment funds. Likewise, will promote the improvement of institutional conditions to spur the small business activity, with programs to reduce red tape and ease their participation in procurement and government contracts.
This Committee will develop and implement short and long –term educational programs to improve the quality of learning and skills development in Venezuela.
Partner with public and private organizations to promote informed debate on education policy, identify and disseminate best practices, and monitor progress toward improvement, recovery and strengthening social values of the Venezuelan population.
The committee will advocate and improve immigration and integration policies for Venezuelan refugees and immigrants through research and analysis, opportunities for learning and dialogue, and the development of new ideas to address complex policy questions. Make the US population and government aware of Venezuelan immigrants contributions make as workers, taxpayers and consumers in order to ease the insertion of Venezuelans in the US economy.
This Committee will promote economic and technical assistance programs, as well as promote US government and industry cooperation programs to help rebuild the industrial systems and critical infrastructure in Venezuela.
Achieve cooperation and mutual understanding between the main industrial sectors of the country and develop successful industrial projects that can reactivate the Venezuelan economy and help forge partnerships among public, private institutions and governments.
This Committee will organize, promote and provoke collaboration and mediation among affected parties, experts and Venezuela government officials to assess and identify damages and achieve restitution or appropriate compensation for confiscated property by the Venezuelan dictatorial regime.
The committee will improve understanding and communication on policy issues and achieve bilateral cooperation through research, public events, and roundtable discussions. We seek to inform and shape policies that provide policymakers, the business community, and the general public with a deeper and more nuanced understanding of Venezuela’s issues, socio-economic developments and promote relations between both countries.
This Committee will promote actions to help the Venezuelan commercial and financial sector tap a variety of financing opportunities, incorporate global lessons, good practices and solutions. Expand Venezuela’s range of options for financing and economic efforts to sustainability grow the economy, reduce poverty, expand opportunities and job creation.
